QUT Health Services provides medical and emergency care for students and staff on all campuses of the University. including first aid, minor surgery, sexual health checks and contraception advice, blood testing, vaccination, surveillance of medical conditions and education on health.

The Wellness Program offers a Health and Wellness Appraisal for QUT staff.

International students

Medical treatment options are available for international students inside QUT and externally.

Health and medical provides information for international students and their families about medical insurance, hospital locations and a list of doctors who speak a second language, with a fact sheet available for download (PDF).

Health insurance cover

Health cover information has details about Medicare, Overseas Student Health Cover, information for Norwegian and Swedish students, and making payment on day of appointment.
