The university's Annual Report is prepared each year and provides an evaluation of the university's performance and achievements during the previous year, measured against its goals and strategic plans. The report is presented to Queensland Minister for Education by April 30 each year.

The Annual Report documents QUT's performance in the three key areas of teaching and learning, research and community service.

The report includes a summary of financial performance and a copy of the university's audited accounts.
