QUT provides a free Online IT Training Service for all students and staff. Topics covered include:
- Introduction to Computers
- Basic Understanding of a PC
- The Internet and Networks
- Searching the Internet Effectively
- Microsoft Word XP
- Microsoft Excel XP
- Microsoft PowerPoint XP
- Microsoft Access XP
- Microsoft Outlook XP.
Students can register for this service by contacting the IT Helpdesk or may be allocated modules as part of their units of study.
Staff can register online for this service (training is subject to supervisor approval).
