Many forms of public transport are available to QUT students, staff and visitors to all campuses.
You can travel to and from QUT's campuses using buses, trains and taxis, while a river ferry or the CityCat will take you to Gardens Point campus. Travel options are outlined in Public transport.
More information on public transport in Brisbane, including the Airtrain service to Brisbane airports, is available from TransLink.
Inter-campus transport
QUT provides shuttle buses to assist students and staff travelling between campuses for the purpose of attending lectures (where students are required to travel between two sites) or attending to University business. The services are operated for the University by the Brisbane City Council year round except on weekends, public holidays and the days between Christmas Day and New Years Day. The two shuttle services are:
- 391 service between Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses, and
- 392 service between Kelvin Grove and Carseldine campuses.
Refer to the Shuttle Bus page for more information about the services and the latest timetables.
