Brisbane boasts a rich and diverse cultural life. The Brisbane Powerhouse Centre for the Live Arts presents live art, dance, clowning, comedy, installations and exhibitions year-round. The Queensland Cultural Centre, incorporating the Queensland Art Gallery, Performing Arts Complex, Queensland Museum and the State Library provides a focus for much of Brisbane's cultural life.
